My name is Maysoon. First and foremost, I am a Palestinian American Muslim woman. I am also an Optometrist and go by Dr. Salem to my patients. My loved ones call me Sooni, Mayce, and Maysoonti.
The idea for this blog has been brewing for many years. My goal is to share personal experiences and challenges faced along the way with the intention to inspire any and every individual to live a life of freedom. Freedom of self doubt, isolation, and lack of confidence. I hope through these shared experiences we build a community that unites and uplifts women.
I have many interests, eyes of course! But also, all things beauty, wellness, and lifestyle, I love a good cup of coffee, and I value self care.
